Red Bank High School is a National School of Excellence, and one of eighteen high schools within the Hamilton County school system in Tennessee. RBHS endeavours to create an environment in which students can excel and fulfill their potential in all areas of their education, be it in academics, athletics, fine arts, or vocational skills.
Students at Red Bank regularly score above the system, state, and national averages on standardized tests. Many of our students elect to take on a more rigorous education with Academic Honors, Advanced Placement, or Dual Enrollment courses.
RBHS is an academy school; all students join either the Leadership (JROTC), Teaching, Health Sciences, Communications, Math/Science/Technology or Humanities/Fine Arts Academy. The academy concept is structured much like a college major, with students taking 4-6 credits of coursework related to their academy. This culminates in their final year with a senior project.
