Red Bank High School is located at the base of Signal Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Few schools have a more beautiful setting. It is a place where students can grow, mature, and achieve academic and personal success.

Our past has set the standard; our future will carry on the tradition of excellence.

Academics and Assessments

Red Bank is a comprehensive high school, offering college preparatory courses in an academy format. Ambitious students may elect to pursue a more rigorous curriculum through Academic Honors, AP and/or Dual Enrollment courses. Most Technical Path cluster courses are offered off-site at Sequoyah Vocational Center.

Students at Red Bank High School traditionally score above the system, state, and national averages on standardized tests.

Athletics and Activities

Red Bank High School has won state championships in many sports, including football in 2000, and our students have the opportunity to participate in all of the TSSAA sanctioned sports. As a public school, Red Bank's athletic facilities are second to none. The newest facility is a $400,000 eight-lane track which was completed in the Spring of 2002.

Students are encouraged to get involved in extracurricular activities. The school newspaper - The Blue and White - and the yearbook - The ROAR - are both award winning publications. School news is broadcast daily by our in-house TV network, WRBH. Six service clubs and 11 interest clubs are available for students to join, in addition to three honorary societies. If students have an interest in music, they can showcase their talents in the marching band, concert band, jazz band, or concert choir.
