The Health Sciences Academy
This academy leads to careers that are involved in medical care, medical research, and emergency medical services. The program places a medical focus on traditional academic classes which enables students to understand the relevance of the class to the medical field.
Students will be exposed to a variety of health careers and will be able to do clinical internships in some of the more specialized classes.
In 2005, the Health Sciences Academy and the Chattanooga Area Hospital District were named the Partnership of the Year. The same year, Red Bank teacher Sandra Cox was named National Academy Teacher of the Year for her work within the academy.
